Suggest Treatment For Endometriosis

Im a 49 yr old woman had endo very early, was not diagnosed until 7 yrs ago, became sterile so only had 1 child, will I still have to take Lo Loestrin after menopause, I have had no side effects, pain or bleeding, have been taking the pill for 7 yrs. had one laparascopy to remove the endo, it came back. Or should I just remove ovaries and get this over with. (frustrated)

Hello,

Can understand the level of frustration you have. because you are nearing menopause, the symptoms will fluctuate for some more months.

Once you have menopause, endometriosis will get settled on its own. If you have the patience, better to wait until menopause.

If you remove ovaries, you will start getting symptoms of menopause and also not going to be good for your bones.
