Suggest Treatment For Endometriosis

I have been diagnosed with endometriosis; I have received 2 depo injections. The first I spotted the entire 3 months; know since the 2nd shot I have had heavy bleeding and now I have been passing blood clots for about 10 days. What should I do. I advised the physician after the 1st injection about the continuous spotting and was advised this is a side affect; what about now??

Hi, I have gone through your question. Endometriosis is due to increased estrogen levels in the body and this leads to irregular menstrual period and excessive bleeding during menstruation.
Endometriosis has to be treated either medically or surgically. Medical management includes hormones like progesterone, oral contraceptives, letrozol and GnRH. The drug need to be given according to the patient profile and effect of the drug on the patient.
If your symptoms are not relieved by depo, which is a progesterone, then you might require different drug as listed above.
I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to optimize the treatment.
