Suggest Treatment For Enlarged Thyroid Gland

hi, I have a enlarged thyroid, my symptoms for the last few weeks are, swollen neck, swollen throat, difficultly swallowing, food getting caught in my throat, tiredness, joint pain, mood swings, feeing like im being chocked. I have thyroid blood work done and everything came back ok. I was exposed to high levels of xray radiation for about a year and a half while working as a veterinary assistant from 07 to 09. Im going to get an ultrasound done on march 3rd. im concerned I have cancer.

Hi dear user
I have gone through your question.

You have symptoms of hypothyroidism(tiredness,joint pain,moos swings) and a compressive goitre.My advice is to repeat the thyroid tests(TSH,Free T3 ,freeT4) to understand your actual thyroid function.
The history of beeing exposed to high levels of xray radiation for about a year and a half is in favour of a possible cancer.
Anyway i suggest that you must discuss with your treating Doctor after the utrasound for the right diagnose and treatement.
