Hello thanks for asking from healthcaremagic.com

Epilepsy results in recurrent seizures. Valparin chrono is one of commonly used drugs for seizures. As per guidelines treatment of seizures should be done for 3 years and if patient doesn't have seizures for three years then doses can be tapered. In relapse of seizure the duration of treatment increases to 5 years.

You are taking Valparin Chrono on SOS basis and this is not the right way of treatment. Treatment should be continued regularly and take medicines daily. Visit your doctor monthly for check up.

Thanks. Take care
