Suggest Treatment For Esophageal Spasms

I have been diagnosed with esophageal spasms. The doctors havent been able to help me long term. Is there a medicine that I can take from time to time when I have a flare up. The doctor always suggest I get my esophagus stretched which I cannot afford this procedure.

Welcome to healthcaremagic. Sorry to hear about your condition. Please note that Calcium channel blockers can help alleviate your symptoms. Depending on the triggers you can sometimes time when to take the medications. Most people have trouble with cold liquids. Good luck and I hope this helps.
