Hi, I have been diagnosed with Eustachian Tube Dysfunction. I have seen two doctors and they have prescribed anti-histamines and ear drops. At times, the ear pain can be very bad and disorienting. I do not have any ear infection and the doctor thinks that it is not a huge issue, since I ve had it for several years. I have been told that if I feel I can no longer bear the pain they can give me ear tubes. Can me ear just be punctured to let out the pressure/pain? How common our tube surgeries for adults? I hear of them as being more for children. Thank You!
