Suggest Treatment For Excess Mucus Inside The Throat

I have a cough that I can feel congestion popping in my throat and upper chest now I am very hoarse. What might I have going on. The cough is not productive, I don’t bring anything up. It feels like being popped with a rubber band in my throat. I have no fever nor have I had a fever since this started 3 days ago. However, I’m finishing up a ten day round of antibiotics for a sinus infection (day 9).

Hello,

Sinusitis or pharyngitis or tonsillitis may cause pain and mucous into the throat. Avoid cool water and avoid cold environment. Use saltwater gargling and water vapor inhalation thrice a day for five days. Use a tablet alday dc twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved, please consult your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
