Suggest Treatment For Excessive Voimitting

Good Day...or not...lol. My husband Lee is an active healthy 60yr old male and has been vomiting since 2am, it is now approx 5pm, it has slowed down and he asked for food, I just gave him jello. My concern is his blue eyes are clear and white but his hands and arms front and back look yellow. Everyone around us has had the flu and yes we have had contact with the people. Lee did have a liver problem approximately 8yrs ago due to alcohol but has not had one drink of alcohol since our doc scared the crap out of him! He does go for a physical every year and everything has been perfect except his blood pressure was slightly high a few years back and has been taking medication on a regular basis. My question to you is, can excessive vomiting cause jaundice and should I be alarmed or may I give him a day or two for the yellow to disappear? He is drinking ginger-ale (2 cans) water (lots) & vitamin water (2 bottles) drinks. Thank you your time and service. Have a great day!

Hello madam !Jaundice is seen for first in the eyes so if your husband eyes are blue and clear you don't have to be concerned about. Continue with a good rehydration and an antivomiting agent. Vomiting doesn't cause jaundice.
