Hi - I'm a 32 year old woman, around 190 pounds. I'm doing some health tests for extreme tiredness, but I'm not scheduled to go back to my doctor until the end of the month when I get all of the test results back. In the meantime, I've been having extreme constipation. I went to the bathroom one time in during a seven-day period, and that was with a heavy dose of laxatives. I was doubled over in pain yesterday, so I took more laxatives and finally cleared out my bowels while vomiting pure orange liquid. Should I see a doctor sooner? I'm still in pain...
Do you have any history of surgery of abdomen? The symptoms you are referring to may be due to subacute intestinal obstruction. To look for impacted stools, your surgeon will examine your rectum
