I WAS TOLD BY MY ENT SPECIALIST THAT MY RIGHT VOCAL CORD IS PARRALISED I WAS TOLD TO STOP SMOKING,STOP SINGING AND WAS RECENTLY ASKED TO TAKE 4 WKS OF LEAVE IN ORDER TO REST MY VOICE AS MY DOCTOR FOUND A NODULEIN MY THROAT.I DID ALL OF THE ABOVE AND I HAVE JUST COME BACK TO WORK {i work in a call cntre} AND MY THROAT IS IN ABSOLUTE PAION NOT FORGETTING THAT I AM JUST RECOVERING FROM THE FLU AS WELL SHOULD I WORRY OT SHOULD I MAKE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT TO SEE MY ENT DOCTOR UTGENT PLEASE ANN

hello, thanks for your query, you can visit to the same doctor to know the status of your vocal cards and it's nodule. in some patients stoping aggravating factors like smoking or alcohol or voice abuse can bring back vocal cards normal, in some requires speech therapy or surgery. hope I have answered your query. all the best. take care.
