You have said eye is half closed, it does not explain whether it is both eye or one eye. what you mean is drooping eye lid. Eye lid is having its action for two muscle ,orbi cularis and levator. What you mean to explain is drooping eye lid or ptosis. action of eye lid muscle is due to action of orbicular is oculi and levator. If one or both are paralyzed then there will be drooping. It can be due to injury or disease. You have said sore head, it can be linked to that. For diagnosis it requires local examination. treatment can be accordingly given.
