Suggest Treatment For Facial Swelling After Exposure To Sun
I went to the beach yesterday for about 5 and a half hours. I applied sunscreen but then not so long after, hopped into the water. I did not re-apply the sunscreen so I ended up getting sun burnt. It s nothing like I have had before. My forehead is the worst. It is swelling to the point of where it is flowing into my left eye - like I can see my forehead out of my corner of my eye. My eyebrow is also starting to puff out and around my hair line there are little bubbles/blisters forming. I placed Aloe Vera on it yesterday when I got home, when I woke up this morning and applied it after dinner, but it seems as if the swelling got worse. Any suggestions?
Hi...thanks for sharing your problem here on HCM... You got sunburn... I will advise you to wash the burnt area....do apply icepacks wrapped in some gauze, not dircly on skin....do apply bacitracine +xylocain ointment.....take some anti inflammatry like ibuprofen...take anti allergic like fexofenadine....hope this all will heal soon...do use sunblock regularly when you go out in the sun...thanks Dr ihsan
