Suggest Treatment For Faster Heart Beats

My heart beats strongly for a couple beats and then goes back to it s normal rhythm when laying down and trying to sleep. I m a graduate student serving for AmeriCorps so I m poor and under a lot of stress. I m also vegetarian and eat at least 2 hard boiled eggs each day but otherwise eat very healthy with many fruits and vegetables and whole grains each day. I am also an avid runner and rock climber.

Hi,

You may be suffering from ventricular arrhythmias most likely couplets characterised by two abnormal beats. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Couplets usually no need to treat it may subside after discontinuation of caffeinated drinks and alcohol. If you're symptoms not improved please consult your Cardiologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
