Suggest Treatment For Fever And Cough

my son aged 2 n half having fever n cough since last one week, doc had suggested to do chest xray pa, report shows evidence of inhomogeneous opacity noted in right lower zone, cbc shows hameglobin 6.8, rbc-3.05, malarial parasite- not seen, sgpt-19. pls help with ur kindl adivce. kalim shaikh

Hi, welcome to healthcare magic. It seems that your child is having pneumonia. Also, the haemoglobin is less which can lead to severe hypoxia. Please show the child to a paediatrician for the management of the problems. He might also require a blood transfusion depending upon the vital status. He will also require chest physiotherapy, bronchodilators and broad spectrum intravenous antibiotics which can be done in hospital setting. Please take a consultation regarding admission to paediatric care unit. Hope he will get well soon.
