I have slight fever (37.5 for two days. I also have headache on the left forehead. The pain from the headache is mild and is on and off. I am taking nifedipine 30mg. Can you please tell me if this is sign of dengue fever. What is the cause of this headache?
Hi there, Thanks for using HCM. Fever and headache are nonspecific symptoms and need not necessarily indicate dengue fever. To confirm whether it is dengue fever, you need to undergo certain blood tests like NS1 antigen test and IgM and IgG antibody tests.
It looks like you have some viral infection. Viral infections cause fever, body ache and headache. These are usually self limiting and will subside in 3-5 days. You can take tylenol for relief.
