Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
Hello,

As mentioned in history I think it is not fibromyalgia. It will be a weakness of the para spinal muscles in the lumbar spine leading to compression on the nerve root via the disc. As you got operated for hysterectomy and later a procedure for the bowel obstruction I can feel that will be a weakness in the core and paraspinal muscles.

Please describe the symptoms this to the physician so a physical examination of the core and abdominal muscle strength can be assessed and treatment will be initiated with hot water fermentation and exercise for the core and lumbar spine extensor group of muscles.

In my clinical experience of 12 years, I have always observed that patients undergoing abdominal surgery complain about the symptoms of pain in the hip region and lower back. With the help of post operative management under guided physiotherapist should give good results.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
