Suggest Treatment For Filariasis

Hi, my sister she is now 23 yrs old , is having filaria , there is swelling in both the arm pits , kind of a little big glands there, rest now recently she has got a swollen left foot, my father who was a doctor told 10 yrs back that she has filaria, she had some minor swelling then,but after that i dont think any medication was given.all these 10 yrs there wasnt any problem except the swelling in armpits and it pained . My father expired arnd 9 yrs back and since there were no such symptoms .. we havent consulted a doctor yet, ya she did show the armpits and the doc gave some medicines to her which she has been taking for last 6 months for armpit swelling but not filaria.
Please advise wt can be done if there is a dr. in lucknow would be helpful.
