Hi,
Noted your history of feeling of fluttering of throat, increases on eating and bending over, feeling like burping to help,
anxiety.
THe muscles in throat are voluntary skeletal muscles causing fluttering possible.
The causes can be as follows:
Irritation due to
GERD.
Allergy and irritation.
Anxiety itself can be the cause and effect too.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Consult an ENT Surgeon for proper clinical evaluation, examination,
Endoscopy to see if fluttering is actually present.
MRI of the neck to see for any cause like lump or so.
Relevant tests of blood.
Real-time barium swallow to see if the fassiculation or fluttering is present.
This way a cause can be found.
Anxiety may need a control by self control, avoiding the factors that cause anxiety and medicines.
Rest of the treatment as per the findings.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, ENT & General Surgeon
