Suggest Treatment For Foot Numbness And Loss Of Grip In Hand

My hands hurt most of the time especially on my left hand with the pain mostly in my middle and ring fingers the pain shoots down my arm to my elbow I can t make a fist or bend my fingers or hand back hardly. My right hand has trouble gripping things. And also in my left foot sonetimes my toes will go numb, for no apparent reason. Please help. The foot numbness has been happening for close to a year on and off and hands the past 2 months. Thanks Leslee Burroughs

The symptoms you describe denote two problems
1. Problems of Joints (I can t make a fist or bend my fingers or hand back hardly. )
2. Problems of Nerves ( foot numbness and loss of grip in hand)

You need to first consult a Neurosurgeon and then, if needed a Orthosurgeon and Rheumatologist

You have the following Complaints

1. Hands hurt most of the time especially on left hand with the pain mostly in my middle and ring fingers the pain shoots down arm to elbow
2. Can t make a fist or bend fingers or hand back hardly.
3. Right hand has trouble gripping things.
4. Left foot sonetimes toes will go numb, for no apparent reason. The foot numbness has been happening for close to a year on and off and hands the past 2 months

There are two possibilities with these symptoms
(1) Peripheral Neuropathy
(2) Cervical Myelopathy

To Narrow down the diagnosis, we need
(1) Clinical Examination
(2) X Ray / CT / MRI Cervical Spine
(3) Nerve Conduction Study
Please consult a Neurosurgeon who will do the needful
