General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Excess wind with foul-smelling, most likely related to GI dysfunction with alteration in gut flora mechanics.

Plenty of liquids, high fiber diet, bulk laxative and prokinetics as Levosulpiride give excellent results; provided GI infection has been ruled out or treated as per the need.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
