Suggest Treatment For Frequent Cold

Sir Good Evening: I am constantly COLD ALL THE TIME especially if the air conditioner is on anywhere. Home, Church, Doctor offices, etc. My heart doctor tells me this is not a problem that relates to my heart and my Primary MD says it is not a cause that I have as being an Anemic and I was wondering if it can be my thyroid. I am literally cold in my own home at 77 degrees and I had to ask my grandson to cut the air conditioner off in my home that was at 82 degrees. What could this be. I wish you could see me now. I am in my bed with a throw over my head , two throws on my bed, a top sheet and a Comforter. Help me!!! Addiewillis

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You may be suffering from allergic to cold environment which may trigger histamine release and nasal congestion.Avoid cool drinks and freeze water avoid smoking and alcohol. Use water vapour inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day. Use humidifier in the room. Also check for your allergic to pollen or animal dander or mites. Use tablet Levocetrizine twice a day for five days.
If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
