Suggest Treatment For Frequent Loose Motions After Delivering Baby
My wife had delivery on June 14, 2011 and she was having too frequent lose motion problem from 6th month onwards and is increasing day by day. Now a days the condition is she goes to wash room atleast 8 to 12 times. Have shown her to many doctors and but nothing has worked. Her condition is going down. Please advice what should i do.
Well come to HCM Thank for asking, I appreciate your concern, it seems to be a chronic case of diarrhea, the most common cause of this is the infection and it could be protozoa infection among this the common organism is amoeba some time it could be associated with bacterial infection, condition can be managed with both with antibacterial and antiprotozoa drugs, I would suggest to try Tab Metronidazole 400 mg twice in day for 7 days, if this fails to responds then it needs the investigations, like stool culture sensitivity, colonoscopy and other just to rule out the micobacterium, infection, ulcerative colitis, malignancy, chronic diarrhea could be having having numbers of disease and all that needs to be differentiated, hope this information helps
