OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,

Your cycle is protected since you missed only one pill which you made up the next day. You have to exclude infection, either in the lower urinary tract or the vagina through a clinical exam, swabs from the cervix and vagina and urinalysis. If negative, a sonogram can be performed to know the status of the pelvic organs and plan further management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shanti Vennam, OBGYN
