Hello Doc,
My pus cells are 25-30 hpf, and few clusters are seen and epithelial cells ar 4-5 hpf. Bacteria 1+. There is a growth in my culture and reports are awaited.
I have undergone cystoscopy 2 months ago. I have a problem of frequent urination and burning and there is a pain in my lower abdomen in right side.
Hello Thanks for your query,based on the facts and your urine report and presence of plenty of pus cells in urine is suggestive of UTI.
Start taking broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefexine along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily.Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.
Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.
Ensure to drink more water.To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria. Dr.Patil.
