I recently went to my obgyn because I was getting up to urinate at least twice, sometimes three, times at night. They determined I had a bacterial infection and tested positive for a yeast infection. I tested negative for a UTI. I was prescribed Flaglyl for 7 days and feel like it is working but also feel it wont be gone completely when i m done the meds in two days. I called my obgyn to see if I could be put on for a couple more days and was told that my frequent urination wasn t because of my bacterial infection and yeast infection, it was due to something else and that I might need to see a urologist. I have looked online and found that yeast infections can cause frequent urination, especially if it is a bad one. Is this true? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
