I am 63 years old weight is 72 Kg. Quit smoking one year back. I have problem of frequent urination specially at night Urine culture is sterile no RBCs no Pus cells. PSA is 0.11 normal prostate size and texture. Bladder walls are thickened by 3 to 4 mm (It is from 2012 till date) I am taking Silofast D last one month but no relief. Kindly advice
Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical and digital rectal examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis. 1) Urine routine and culture. 2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis 3) Serum PSA 4) Uroflowmetry 5) Endoscopic examination of bladder (Cystoscopy).
If it is proved to be due to BNO you will need to undergo endoscopic surgery of Bladder Neck Incision (BNI) .This will rsolve the issue for forever . Dr.Patil.
