Suggest Treatment For Fungus On Thumbnails In New Born Baby

My newborn has thumbnails that are not normal...they look as if they have fungus on them however, our Pediatrician states he has not seen this before and he would like to see if she grows out of this before reacting? He states it may be a result of her sucking both thumbs in the womb?

Hi....thumbnails are the appendages of the skin and skin conditions are always best diagnosed untreated after seeing them directly.
