Suggest Treatment For Gaining Weight And Height

How to gain height and weight :- Hello doctor, My daughter is 20 years, she was under under-nourishment till 15 years of age, as her teeth got removed at the age of 1.8 years. That time she did not like milk too. She started taking milk after 15 years. Now Her height is 5 and weight 39 kgs. Her hb is 9.3 and always complains of weakness and is tired after coming from college. She is fussy about taking food. Can u please guide us what can be done now to improve her height if possible, and weight too.

Regarding Your height :
Scientifically normal human bone stop growing in the age between 18- 23.
it will attain skeletal maturity. All u cartilage part will become bone. so there is will not be any further growth.
As your daughter is already 20 yrs. there is no much height gain will happen.
and genetically you and your wife falls in the same height category, no point in increasing height.

Regarding weight:

Her Body mass index says she is under weight.
Hemoglobin level indicate anemia.-(causes tiredness)
follow the below advise to gain weight and increase your hb.

Take foods like Almond,cashew,channa,soyabean,peanut in your daily food intake.
take wheat,jaggery,black gram,and dal prepared with ghee.
take diary product like milk,yogurt,cheese,butter etc.

to increase iron
Add fig,dates,spinach green leafy vegetables,ragi,folic acid containing fruits and vegetables.. if you eat non vegetarian take meat (lamb) twice in a week.

This will nourish in a healthy way and gain weight.
