Suggest Treatment For Gas, Pressure In Anus And Urge To Defecate

I suffer from excess gas, especially at night. I also have this constant pressure in the anus, feeling the need to do a poo. I go to the toilet regularly after taking phsillium husk. But the pressure to do more stays with me all day and especially at night.
Please help, I am out of solutions, had a colonoscopy, tried the fructose diet and take in very little wheat.
Thank you
Marta

Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Excessive bloating is called aerophagia. Due to air swallowing, you get this symptom. Air swallowing can be caused by chewing gum, smoking, eating too fast, loose dentures, drinking carbonated drinks.
In rare cases belching can be a sign of some stomach, esophagus or other abdominal organs issues.
I suggest you to try to eliminate mentioned factors first. If this wont help, you should consult your doctor and have some diagnostics. Abdominal ultrasound and endoscopy should be done.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
