My 14 Year old granddaughter has been having stomach discomfort, was diagnosed with Gastritis over a month ago. Put on medication and Tagamet. Has not helped has lost a total of 19 lbs over the last month. States hungry but afraid to eat because she gets sick.
In gastritis case you can take proton pump inhibitor drugs like omeprazol. Some antacids in liquid form can use.
Some diet modifications helpful in gastritis. Drink more water. Avoid spicy foods and oily foods. Avoid junk foods.
