hi.

I have read your question thoroughly.

As all of your investigations are normal so it means that there is no pathological problem/disease in your gastrointestinal tract.

your signs and symptoms points towards a probability of having an irritable bowel syndrome(IBS). it's is condition in which patients suffer from gastrointestinal distress; gastric pain, bloating(gas), constipation which may alternate with diarhea as well, and this condition may be accompanied by other symptoms like headache.

You don't need to worry too much about it. irritable bowel is almost completely curable. what you need to do is:

1) life style changes: sedentary life style and anxiety are considered to be the most important causing factors of this condition. daily exercise for half an hour like jogging, riding bicycle or even brisk walk for 40 mins would be very helpful. These measure increase motility of gastrointestinal tract that helps in both relieving the constipation and reducing the gas problem. It will also help in reducing your gastric pain.

2) dietary modifications: you have to restrict tea and coffee to 3 cups a day and increase water and non caffeinated drinks to 8 cups per day. Alcohol and fizzy drinks intake should be reduced. you have to take regular meals and must avoid missing meals. consider limiting high fibre diet like high fibre flour, whole meals etc.

3) you have to visit your physician and if he considers it suitable he might prescribe you some laxatives and low dose tricyclics, which might help in reducing the symptoms quickly.

I hope you found it helpful.

best regards
