Suggest Treatment For Genetic Blood Disorder

I am a 54 yr old female w/genetic blood disorder that involves an inability to assimilate vit. B's, thus a homocystine problem only diagnosed after 3 heartattacks a stoke, gall bladder removal, and developement of celiac spur. This started at 49, now in the past year I have been diagnosed w/hrt failure that put me back in the hospital for one day and adding laziks and potassium to my medication regiment. Now my blood pressure is spiking all the time 150/107 with fast heart rate at all times. My question is my right BP reading is always significantly lower than the left when it is spiking. Could you tell me what is going on? My own cardialogist just moved and I haven't seen a new one yet, I have been relying on my primary Dr. for answers, but he really hasn't given me any answer except he is not happy with this new development and added another BP med which will be followed up on in about a week. Please give me some additional insite if you can. Thank you.

Hi, If I were your treating Doctor for this case of hyperhomocysteinemia, I would come up with three possibilities, these include:
The first possibility is of diet. To help control the correct metabolism, you should not eat food with methionine in them, it means to avoid cheese, curd, white part of egg, buckwheat, semolina, beef . Also take some green vegetables, enriched B6,B12 , folic acid, betaine(beet roots), then you may need drugs like B complex, folic acid.
The second possibility is of diuretic plants.
The last possibility is of Vitamin D,cod oil, Vitamin A,olive oil, pomegranate, apple, garlic to decrease Cholesterol.
We always have different BP on different hands. You should check BP on the one hand.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
