Suggest Treatment For Granulated Suture After C Section
I am having a granulated suture removed on the 19th from my c-section scar. After the surgery they r going to leave the wound open. The Dr told me he would send a nurse to do the packing. I had pre surgical testing today and the nurse practitioner told me that it is going to be painful and to just take meds and relax. Why would they leave the wound open, how long does it take to recover, and is it going to be painful? I m just freaking out! And looking for some insight on what to expect please!!
As per your case history of granulated suture, my treatment advice is -
1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like Fusiderm cream on it.
3. Take a vitamin E supplement.
