Hello,
Welcome at HCM! I carefully read your report and i think i can give you some information in order to clarify your confusion.
From the exams you reported, there results to be two problems with the thyroid gland;

-Graves' disease
-Nodule at the left lobe

These are two different pathologies. Graves' disease has an autoimmune etiology and affects the whole gland, the nodule at the left lobe should be examined further.
If you were a patient at my clinic i would suggest you to do a scintiscan of the thyroid gland (pregnancy should be ruled out before), in order to decide if the nodule is cold or not. For the cold nodule the next step would be the biopsy with fine needle aspiration to rule out a malignant pathology (6% of probability).
The diagnosis of Graves' disease should be confirmed by positive antireceptor antibodies.
You may discuss with your doctor the above mentioned examinations and after the result decide for the treatment.

Kind regards,
Dr.M.guni
