6 weeks after having a baby i had seaweed bath next day had greenish yellow discharge from vagina. attended docotor and put on augmentin for 7 days no sucess. a swab was taking came back strep a infection treated with erythroped 500mg qid for 7 days.& flagyl 200mgx 7 days not cleared . now on clonamox 500mg tidx14 days. I am presuming not related to birth as had no symptoms till 6 wks post partum. and only had symptoms after seaweed bath. please advise as i am afraid this antibiotic will not work either
