Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear Madam,
Thanks for seeking help on your issue; I have gone through your symptoms, and in my opinion, its true that smoking has bad effect on fusion, and it may lead to partial fusion or failure of fusion. I agree to the fact that your symptoms are causing serious trouble to you, if you cannot undergo surgery I would advise you to go to a good physio, and let him help you control your pain.
I hope I have been able to provide you with a satisfactory solution, if you want to clear any doubts about my opinion, feel free to contact.
Special note- Any medication prescribed needs to be taken after consultation with your personal doctor only.
Thanks
Dr. Narender Saini
