hELLO, I had a bit of skin on the side of my nail, Im not sure what the right name is for it but some people call it the quick and various other things. I pulled it off one day as I do all the time, but this time would not stop bleeding. I had to put a plaster on it. The following day I took the plaster off and had what looked like skin which was over my nail, I thought that maybe the pressure of the plaster had forced the skin from my finger.I have looked on the net and found something called pterygium, is this what I have. It is really sore and painful to touch and bleeds all the time, I have had it for a week now.
