Suggest Treatment For Guttate Psoriasis

hi I have guttate psoriasis from a troat infection, and was on antibiotics and steriods for a week, and also using betnovate gel for the past two weeks, the psoriasis completely cleared in about a week and a half which was great but in the last 3-4 days it has come back even more agressively, the doc say if it hasn t gone in 4 weeks that I could get light treatment, what do you recommend from reading this? thank you for your response!

thanks for posting the query. Guttate psoriasis usually happens after a bought of streptococcal throat infection. Consult your dermatologist for recurrent psoriasis like topical application of steroids like mometasone or clobetasone along with moisturiser and antibiotics for the infection. avoid aggravating factors like alcohol, offending drugs, dryness, stress etc and if resistant than other modalities of treatment are there like methotrexate, calciprotiol topical or phototherapy etc.
