Suggest Treatment For Hair Loss.

Hello Sir,

I'm 23, I have lost hair almost in the front part of my head....:(
I have a suggession from my friend to use Mintop oil which causes hair to come back....
is it real ? Can I use this with out any prescription from Doctor?

Hi there Venkat.
I am afraid the suggestion from your friend may not work too well for you.
At 23, if you have lost as much hair as you suggest, a multi-pronged approach will be needed with a hair transplantation for sure.
In addition PRP or platelet rich plasma injections may help prior to surgery & following the hair transplantation.
Yes Minoxidil (Mintop, Hairgrow, MX)..any brand of minoxidil is a good starting point..do use the 10% variety ...MX from H & H pharma is one that comes in this strength.
There is also a tablet called Finasteride which can be started in a dose of 5 mg per day over 3-6 mths with due considerations to your semen count et al.
