Hey I am 25yr old female and I had a hysterectomy June 12,2014 and ever since then I have been having a lot of bowel movements since the surgery. Before my surgery I had a hard time passing bowel but now I don t, I only had my uterus removed but I had my ovaries and tubes removed before this surgery. Hi welcome to HCM....

According to your history now you have smooth bowel movement which was harder before operation ...

It is not related to hysterectomy ....

Intially you had hard bowel movement may be by less fiber food intake , less water or lack of physical activity ...

If you had fibroid than constipation related hard bowel movement can be there by compression of intestinal part ...But for that detail history and clinical correlation necessary ...

Just now try to maintain on healthy and balanced diet ...
More fruits and fiber ....

Hope your concern solved ...
Take care ....
