Hi I had surgical wisdom tooth extraction about 4 days ago and the swelling is not disappearring. Its has become a hard bump around my jaw, and it hurts to open my mouth. Is this normal, what is the treatment, and how long will it take to disappear? Thanks!
Hi, It seems that due extraction of wisdom tooth there might be having some infection over the site producing enlarged, painful lymph nodes. Go for one antibiotic, anti-inflammatory medicine course for 3-5 days. Ok and take care.
