YEARS AGO I HAD A HARD BUMP ON MY HIP I SQUEEZED IT AND SOME WHITE STINKY FLUID LIKE A ZIT CAME OUT. ITS BEEN ABOUT 20 YEARS NOW AND I FELT THIS HARD BUMP ON THE HIP AND SQUEEZED IT TRYING TO DRAW OUT SOMETHING NOTHING CAME OUT ITS BEEN TWO WEEKS AND NOW ITS ALL RED AND HURTS REAL BAD CANT LAY ON MY SIDE NOR CAN I WEAR PANTS WHAT SHOULD I DO
1.The possible cause of the lump seems like infective / skin inflammation (localised) Redness and pain suggest infection with collection within. 2.If you are my patient i would have examined the area and ask for an ultrasound scan to get the nature of the lump and its source and extensions. 3.Depending on the features the treatment depends on. 4.Most probable treatment include - a course of antibiotic. 5.As a remedy - suggest not to press which you been doing as you will complicate the process, leave it alone - that way it will heal quicker. Try to put soft clothing which will not cause irritation to the lump region. Good luck.
