Suggest Treatment For Hard Lump At Heroin Injected Area

My boyfriend has been shooting heroin in his arm for a couple weeks now. Same arm eachtime.. he now has a hard lump at the injection area. He has said he kept messing with it today so its kinda irritated. I dont know what to do.. i have never done it or plan on doing it.. im scared for him. Hes freaking out too. Please help.

He most likely has a hematoma. (Accumulation of blood). It will subside on its own in a couple of weeks. If it is painful or increases in size, it needs evacuation by a doctor. Also, I would advise you to stop heroin use.
