Suggest Treatment For Hard Lump On Brow Bone Due To An Injury
Hi Dr, I fell and hit my eye area just on my brow bone. Its been a week and the blues and blacks have mostly disappeared but I now noticed that there is a hard lump on my brow bone ,just above my inner eye, that wasnt there earlier. when I message it the area around it seems to swell but after a night's rest the swell subsided and the lump seem bigger. Will this lump go away with time?
I can understand your concern for hard lump on brow bone due to an injury.
In my view correlating with the facts you have provided it would be simple cystic swelling due to collection of blood so do not worry about any serious possibility in the same.
I suggest you to not to touch or pinch and pop the area otherwise it can get infected. It may take few weeks of period of time to get better so have patience. You can take a anti-inflammatory drug such as paracetamol or diclofenac for few days.
All the best
