Suggest Treatment For Hard Nose Tip With Bleeding And Headaches

Hi. I am a 15 year old male. Lately, the snot in my nose has been becoming rock hard and when I go to get it out, I m basically pulling blood out of my nose. Also, I am feeling a pain on the left side of my head. With the pain comes a headache also. Could these be connected?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, thanks for your query. In my opinion, you might be having cellulitis of your nose. Do not pull blood out of your nose. It can be treated with penicillin antibiotics + anti inflammatory medicines like paracetamol + diclofenac combination drugs twice daily for 3 to 5 days. Decongestant nasal drops will help reduce bleeding. If symptoms persists, then please consult with your doctor and get evaluated. Hope my answers have helped you. Thanks.
