Suggest Treatment For Hashimoto Thyroiditis And Anxiety

Dear Sir, If I have hashimoto thyroiditis with normal TSH but several symptoms with sympathetic activity except one: cold extremities, what could I do? If I do not get beta blockers, my blood pressure is relatively low (105/70, pulse 72), my cholesterol level is also low, but I have palpitations, sweating, shaking hands, anxiety. Is this a compensation for the low metabolic activity conducted by the adrenal gland, or hyperthyroid function? Thanks you for your time, Sincerely, Helen

The palpitations , sweating , tremors can occur in hyperthyroidism .......

But these symptoms can occur also by excess anxiety leads to panic attack .....

So get your thyroid profile done ....
If thyroid report abnormal treatment given accordingly ...
You can post your thyroid report for further guidance. ...

If latest thyroid report comes normal than anxiety might be cause ...

Try to avoid stressful situation ...

Yoga and daily exercise will be useful for anxiety ....
If needed psychiatric counselling can be done for behavioural therapy ....
Anxiolytic drug will also be useful....
