Suggest Treatment For Headache And Heartburn

Hi,I am having chest pains for the past 3days.it comes & goes. Along with this headache for 3days and heartburn for the past 2days. I keep feeling nausious .I was recently prescribed cortico steroid pills ,albuterol inhaler, & promethazine codein & azithromicin for a cough because I had asthma flare ups because I have bronchitis. I am 36 years old.and I was just wondering if its the meds causing my chest pain & headaches & nausea& heartburn. Or if it may be something more serious?

I read carefully your question and understand your concern.

The heart burn, chest pain and nausea could be related to corticosteroids and their effect on your stomach.

Regarding the headaches, I would recommend to closely monitor your blood pressure.

Cortico steroid pills could also raise your blood pressure, leading to headaches.

I recommend to closely monitor your blood pressure and use PPI (omeprasole, lansoprasole, etc) to protect your stomach during this period.
