Suggest Treatment For Headache And Ringing Ears After Getting Hit On Head

My boyfriend tripped over his dog and tried to catch the landing by reaching for the bedroom door which happen to be open and landed the fall by hitting his forehead on the door jam. He has a headache, cloudy head and ringing ears. What should he do?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Your boyfriend is having head injury due to this accident.
He is having tinnitus (ringing in ear), cloudiness. These are seen commonly with internal brain injury.
So we should first rule out internal brain injury in your boyfriend 's case.
So consult neurologist and get done clinical examination and MRI brain.
If MRI is normal then no need to worry for brain injury.
Ask him to take painkiller and anti inflammatory drugs. Apply ice packs on affected areas.
Don't worry, he will be alright with all these but first rule out brain injury.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your boyfriend. Thanks.
