Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Severe headache, swelling of hands and feet after 20 weeks of pregnancy raises the suspicion of pre - eclampsia and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy. However, other causes of headache and swelling of hands and feet should also be ruled out. I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist as soon as possible so that you can be properly examined, your blood pressure monitoring should be done, appropriate investigations are done and management should be done, preferably as an inpatient. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health Dr Deepti Verma
