Suggest Treatment For Headache And Tinnitus
Hi. I am a 50 year old female. I am 5ft 3 and weigh about 87kg. About 2 years ago I started getting some slight tingling in my face and R arm. I also had ringing in my ears, headaches, vision problems and dizzy spells that were so severe I ended up in ED. It has since spread and I now often get stinging from my neck to lumbar region of my spine and tingling pins and needles in my arms and legs and occasionally in a band around my mid section. This is often worse when lying down, Most recently the front of my neck has started stinging. When my neck is most sore it often feels swollen and I cannot tolerate warmth on my neck at all. Your opinion would be much appreciated. Marion

As per your query you have problem of headache and tinnitus. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like temporomandibular problem , stress and anxiety , localize change in blood pressure , impacted tooth , hearing loss and infection in ear . The symptoms can also occur due to condition like meniere's disease .I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order tests like CT scan , vitals , examination with otoscope and rule out TMJ or impacted tooth problems . Doctor may prescribe supplement like ginkgo biloba , anti inflammatory , antibiotics ( gentamicin ) or may refer you to dentist in caseof TMJ or impacted tooth problem . For now apply dry warm compress to TMJ and ear , drink green tea thrice a day and try to make yourself relax . Doctor may also refer you to neurologist for migraine like problem .
